NDC Has A Track Record Of "Blowing" Money To Pay Their Way Into The Seat Of Gov't - Atik

Atik Mohammed has described President John Dramani Mahama and his government as nation wreckers, claiming they will induce electorates to vote them into power.

Contributing on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', the PNC Policy Analyst stressed that the Mahama administration has no regard for economic management.

According to him, the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has a track record of "blowing" money to pay their way into the seat of government.

Atik Mohammed made this known in his analysis of the NDC primaries on Saturday, November 21, 2015.

He disclosed that some aspirants induced delegates to vote for them; a pure characteristic of the NDC government.

He therefore feared the party may be nursing similar ulterior motives towards the 2016 general elections.

They are just interested in money and even if it means wrecking the economy to win an election, they will do it. And if within their own elections, they can pay monies and manipulate systems; you can imagine what they will do. They will stop at nothing to make sure they win the elections in 2016.

The Aspiring General Secretary of the PNC further opined that "the reckless and irrational expenditures" government embarked on in 2012, is what has brought the country to its knees, and added that the party has since "demonstrated by several examples that they have a track record of wrecking the economy to win elections. So, they don’t have a challenge with paying money (to delegates). What has ruined our economy? It is the reckless and irrational expenditures we had in 2012. It has haunted Ghana till date. And what were the reasons for such expenditures – to win an election. They have no regard for economic management."
