President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour, aka Obour and highlife musician Daasebre Dwamena have been invited to perform at this year�s edition of the �Back In The Day� concert slated for December 19 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra. The two acts are expected to thrill fans with their splendid performances. Daasebre and Obour are ready to unleash an extraordinary performance that fans have never witnessed before on the night, adding that this year�s edition of the event will bring back to life and celebrate the great music of the past decades. According to the organisers, the impending musical concert is an opportunity for the two seasoned music icons to thrill their fans who had missed out on seeing them perform live on stage. Obour and Daasebre would be joined on stage by Hiplife group Akatakyie alongside international artistes, Sisqo and his group Dru Hill. This year�s concert which is in partnership with the EIB Network, owners of Live 91.9FM, Starr 103.5 FM, Kasapa 102.3FM, Ultimate fm in Kumasi and Empire FM in Takoradi will see live performances from equally great Ghanaian musicians with a repertoire that belonged to the 1990�s and beyond. VIP, Tic Tac, Abrewa Nana, Dogo, Chicago, Ex-Doe, Sony Achiba and Ded Buddy performed the last time. The others included, Keteke, Native Funcky Lords, Obrafour, T-Blaze, Slim Busterr, Joe Frazier, Akatakyie, Kontihene, Lord Kenya and a host of others. The previous events has also witnessed performances from American hip-hop group, Naughty By Nature and some of the local artistes such as Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, T. Blaze and T.H 4Qwages.
