NDC Has Disappointed Ghanaians Obiri Boahen

Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen claims the ruling National Democratic Congress [NDC] has failed Ghanaians after their ‘gargantuan’ promises during the 2012 elections.

He was emphatic on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie' that Ghanaians must not consider voting the NDC back in 2016 – “Unless they are unperturbed with the current hardship created by the Mahama-led administration they can vote for them.”

“The NDC promised Ghanaians ‘heaven on earth’ during their campaign, what are we seeing now? They have disappointed the electorate,” he added.

His comment comes after the PURC announced electricity tariff will be increased by 59.2%, while that of water will go up by 67.2 % for consumers.

The new changes will take effect from December 14, 2015 – but customers are against the sudden shoot up.

NPP’s Nana Obiri Boahen however urged voters to rethink their decision to maintain the NDC-Mahama-led government in the 2016 election.

“Ghanaians have the choice to decide in 2016. What is going on now is enough for Ghanaians to kick the NDC out from government. We have had enough of their incompetency,” he told host Kwasi Aboagye.
