NDCs 1m Votes Target A Mirage Alfa Justice

Alfa Justice, the former propaganda secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region has warned that the ruling NDC might miss out on their targeted one million votes in the region come 2016 general election due to divisions among the current and the immediate past executives of the party.

The renowned radio representative of the NDC in the region and a former Assembly Member for the people of Kwadaso Sub-Metro has predicted doom for the NDC if the current regional executives do not stop the in-fighting and back-biting towards the past regional executives.

He said this on New Mercury FM's morning political talk show last week when explaining why he did not contest the just-ended parliamentary primary at Kwadaso where he picked the ticket for the NDC during the 2012 general election and polled 28.4% of votes in one of the strong holds of the main opposition party.

He said the NDC is capable of even achieving more than the target if there is unity in the party and called on the national executives to as a matter of urgency step in and make all efforts to foster unity in the party.

He admitted that if the party is able to address the current fued among NDC old and the new executives in the Ashanti region, the party can garner more than their targeted one million votes in 2016 general election.
