Twelve people have died at Jasikan in the Volta Region.
The twelve were involved in a fatal accident.
A Metro Mass bus from Accra to Nkwanta collided head-on with an Urvan bus heading from Kejebi to Jasikan claiming the lives of the passengers.
According to Peace FM's Volta Regional correspondent, Kwabena Ntow, the Metro Mass bus was at a top speed on the dusty road with the dust clouding the vision of the bus driver as the bus collided head-on with the Urvan bus which was also speeding in its direction.
Two people who survived the accident are reported to be in critical condition and have been rushed to the Jasikan Government Hospital.
