What Is Kwabena Agyepongs Crime? Kofi Adams Queries

National Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has questioned the opposition New Patriotic Party's (NPP) decision to suspended their General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong.

What wrong has Kwabena Agyepong done? He queried during an interview on PEACE FM News @ 6pm, Thursday.

Kwabena Agyepong and the second vice chairman of the NPP, Sammy Crabbe were suspended indefinitely after a NEC meeting held on Thursday.

This follows an indefinite suspension of the party's National Chairman, Paul Afoko.

Mr. Crabbe, is perceived to be an ally to the suspended National Chairman after he refused to appear before the committee after several invitations. Mr. Agyepong, by his posture, is also perceived to have supported Mr. Paul Afoko, an action considered as an affront to the regulations of the party.

Reacting to these development in the 'elephant' fraternity, Kofi Adams said "we are not happy" with what is happening in the NPP.

"It is disturbing and it is even more disturbing to the country as a whole. It is now a security threat" he said and urged the security operatives in the country to beef up to protect lives and property.

"We want a strong opposition and not a confused opposition but what they are doing has given us free way to victory. What they are doing has made us more convinced of victory because Ghanaians won't waste their votes on a disorganized party. NPP cannot even manage a small party and so, we can't give them the entire nation to handle....It was written on the wall that Paul Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong and Sammy Crabbe will not hold their position for long and that is what we are seeing today," he added.
