Sammy Crabbe Warned To Keep His Mouth Shut Or Be Expelled From NPP

A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Amoako Tuffour has warned suspended National 2nd Vice Chairman of the party to keep his mouth shut and stop saying untruths about the party.

Sammy Crabbe, the former head of the Ghana School Feeding Programme speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Programme Friday said, may be expelled from the NPP if he continues to run the party down.

“If he continues to run his mouth and spew untruths, and someone takes him to the Disciplinary Committee again, they may ask for his expulsion from the party…so he should shut up, that is the advice I have for him as a friend…,” Amoako Tuffuor stated.

Sammy Crabbe and party General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong were suspended by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party for failing to comply with rules of the party.

While Agyepong attended an invitation of the Disciplinary Committee to explain his actions, Crabbe snubbed the invitation and still insists any decision taken without the input of suspended chairman Paul Afoko.

He called the bluff of the members of the disciplinary committee and the National Executive Committee, insisting they were acting illegally.

And since the announcement of his suspension, he has been on various platforms condemning the party and its leadership.

He is on record as having said he does not regard the decision of the NEC as valid since according to him, the acting National Chairman, Freddie Blay lacks the legal backing to call such a meeting.

Dr. Amoako Baah, who says he is a ‘good friend’ of the former Greater Accra chairman of the party, argues these comments are not in good taste and may result in his expulsion from the NPP.

He further called on him to wake up from his day-dreams and face reality.

“In this world, it is not what you pretend to be that matters, it is what the law says and that is the fact that he has been suspended…he should wake up to reality and stop deceiving himself…,” he said.
