Former Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah Hints At Black Stars Return

Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has revealed his readiness to return to the senior National team.
 
Appiah was sacked as Black Stars coach after the team’s shambolic performance at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

There have been several calls from football enthusiasts for the 55-year-old to return as head coach of the Black Stars following Avram Grant’s continues stay in Europe.

Grant has further been linked with English Premier League Swansea City who have been reported to be interested in the Israeli trainer.

Appiah who currently works as head coach of Sudanese outfit Khartoum Al Waatani has hinted at a possible return to the senior National team.

“Coaching is my profession so I will never stop coaching until my time is up,” he told Starr FM.

“If it happens that I should be back, I will be back, nobody knows.”
