Africa and Middle East Resource Investment (AMERI) seems to be a ‘Ghost company’ per the findings of a Norwegian newspaper.

Editor of the Norwegian newspaper, Amund Bakke Foss says their investigations so far on the AMERI-Ghana indicates the country might have signed the deal with a non-existent company.

According to him, a webpage that was in their name was created two months before the signing of the contract.

These discussions follows a publication by www.ve.no that Ghana signed a deal with a Pakistani Norwegian named Umar Farooq Zahoor, CEO of AMERI Group; who allegedly is wanted by the police.
