Prez Mahama Doesn't Understand Governance; Everything Is In A Mess - Dr. Amoako Baah

15 more days to end 2015 – President John Dramani Mahama has outlined his achievements since he took over the presidency in 2009 prior to the unfortunate death of Late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills as president.

The president’s achievements which was documented and launched at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra touched on sectors including education, health, water and sanitation, security, transportation and energy.

The book was named “Accounting to the People” – has been lauded by members of the National Democratic Congress [NDC].

But the former Head of the Political Science Department at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Richard Amoako Baah has slammed the president’s achievements saying – “it is shambolic.”

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie', Dr. Amoako Baah was emphatic that – “President doesn’t understand governance. Praising himself is not governance. He should rather manage things well, the people are suffering.”

According to him – “Good governance is not about going for loans all the time. President Mahama’s debts incurred alone are more than his achievements.”

“Everything is in a mess, and I don’t know what the president is doing. Chasing after loans to manage Ghana is unfortunate. There is no hope for Ghana under this administration,” he added.
