We wish to congratulate our newly elected Member of parliament upon retaining the seat for us the NDC of the Amenfi constituency.
We once again want to congratulate the NPP for the good fight and we wish them in subsequent elections.
We want to make one thing clearer, that the NPP bridged the election 10000 gap we recorded in 2012 to slightly over 2700 because, we have clear evidence that 'Wontumi', the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP and the NPP hugely engaged in vote buying which amounted to nothing.
We want to state it that, the NDC had not lost it's popularity in one of it's strongholds, but, rather, vote buying on the part of the NPP resulted such surprise bridge in votes gap.
We want to condemn such behaviors and this unhealthy political pattern, because, this would always draw our democracy backward.
We finally want to urge all our supporters around the country not to be perturb about the vote gap which has been closed by the NPP,but, we promise to work harder to extend on vote margin in the next general elections.
