Dethroned Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to secure a mouth-watering US$500,000 kit sponsorship deal with renowned Turkish company, Lescon Sportswear, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Grapevine sources close to the management of the Porcupine Warriors revealed to GHANAsoccernet.com that the deal is almost done as the Turkish firm has agreed to all the contractual proposals.

The source added that the deal will include playing jerseys, training kits, campers and traveling kits in the 2015/16 season.

Eric Oppong-Yeboah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pacific Football Ghana Limited, who has been working closely with Kotoko management, travelled to Turkey last week to conclude the deal.

Oppong-Yeboah has since returned and will be holding his last meeting with the Kotoko management to conclude the marriage between the two parties.

Lescon are a major manufacturer of sports equipment with more than 30 clubs in Turkey and other European countries having signed deals with clubs such as Balıkesirspor, Kardemir Karabükspor , Kayseri Erciyesspor and Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.
