Kotoko threaten to pull out of GHALCA G6 over unpaid arrears

Asante Kotoko might withdraw from the GHALCA G6 competition over unpaid arrears owed by organizers of the competition (GHALCA).
 
The Porcupine Warriors is said to have threatened to boycott the four-day competition which begins from January 7-10.

The Ghanaian giants are reported to be demanding some outstanding arrears for participating in previous organized GHALCA competitions.

The Kumapem Club is therefore menacing on pull out of next month’s competition.

“We have told GHALCA that they should o through their records and check all the arrears due us and settle before we involve ourselves,” deputy Operations manager of the Club Ali Maradona is quoted by GazzettaGhana.

“The money they owed us has to be cleared first, then we sit and negotiate with them for the upcoming one otherwise we cannot participate in the tournament, and that we have made it clear to them”,

Kotoko have been drawn in Group B of the GHALCA G6 tournament together with Berekum Chelsea and Ashanti Gold.
