Member of Parliament for the people of Mfantseman West, Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has demonstrated at the Extraordinary Annual Delegates’ Conference that it is ready for political power in 2016.

According to him, the caliber of personalities in the party who thronged the Sunyani Coronation Park including some elders who some section of Ghanaians thought would not grace the occasion but did have motivated the party to fight and work hard for victory.

Speaking on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Hon. Quansah mentioned that the likes of former MCE’s and DCE’s as well as former Parliamentarians who chanted for change in 2016 is an indication that the party is ready to work hard to deliver Ghanaians from hardship and poverty.

“We are ready that, come 2016, we will work hard to deliver Ghanaians from hardship and poverty. What motivates me is the caliber of personalities like former DCE’s, former President, Kufuor and former Parliamentarians who graced the occasion,” he stated.

“People thought some kind of personalities in the party would not have graced the program but they did and that alone is a motivational factor. You ask anybody, all they are saying is change is coming”, he averred.

He apparently was happy for the zeal with which the elders in the party gave advice to work as a unity despite the internal wrangling in the party; stressing that “we are ready for power for the people of Ghana in 2016.
