Hearts of Oak spends $51,000 on nine new players

Accra Hearts of Oak has spent GH₵195,000 ($US51, 000) on newly recruited players ahead of the new season. Ghanasportsonline.com has learnt.
 
The Rainbow Club has so far made nine new signings after shelving-off seven misfit players at the end of the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League.

Patrick Razak Omotoyossi, Cosmos Dauda, Benjamin Doe Atiso, Prince Boadu, Daniel Boateng, Ibrahim Musah all joined from lower-tier sides.

Former Liberty Professionals and Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Mustapha Essuman and Justine Anane from Berekum Chelsea also joined the Club as free agents.

Ghanasportsonline.com sources at the Club has revealed that the team spent GH₵195,000 ($US51, 000) to acquire the services of the nine players signed so far.

The former Ghana Champions will be hoping to make some more signings ahead of a busy season.

Hearts after the season offloaded general captain Kofi Abanga, Emmanuel Hayford, Gilbert Fiamenyo, Selasi Agyei, Romeo Abgan, Issah Mumuni  and Kwaku Andoh.

Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashie and his team are currently preparing for the upcoming GHALCA G6 competition wich kick starts on January 7-10.
