My Next Agenda Is To Gain More Votes For Prez Mahama Come 2016 - Fifi Kwetey

Member of Parliament(MP) for Ketu South, Fifi Kwetey says his next agenda is to work above human imagination in his constituency to win over one hundred thousand votes in the area for President John Mahama come November 2016 elections.

“Our focus is not so much on NPP in Ketu- South but to push a minimum of one hundred thousand votes for President Mahama” he said.

Mr. Kwetey who is also the Minister for Food and Agriculture polled over 85 percent of the votes cast while his two rivals together polled a little over 12 percent.

He told JOY FM news that, members of his constituency voted highly to retain him at the parliamentary primaries in the constituency because people of Ketu South have for a long time wanted somebody who can be a very proud ambassador for them and beyond.

“I think the Ketu South people have for a long time wanted somebody who really can be a very proud ambassador for them and they have gotten that, and for the past three years they have seen significant development,” he stated.

He laughed over a question asked him as to whether he stands any chance to winning the election against his opponents from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) come 2016.

He said even though the constituency is not just the biggest constituency as far as National Democratic Congress (NDC) is concerned, the NPP knows very well within themselves that is a no go area for them.
