NDC Press Conference Was Absolutely "Needless" - Atik

The PNC General Secretary Atik Mohammed says the press conference held by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) a couple of days ago was "needless and objectionable".

Making his submissions on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', the PNC General Secretary said the NDC should not have held the press conference to address issues they find disturbing regarding Ghana's voters' register.

According to him, all political parties in the nation should work together to address the concerns surrounding the current voters' register.

To him, there is an urgent need for a clean and transparent register but should become a cooperative enterprise where the political parties and the Electoral Commission join forces for a proper audit of the register.

Atik Mohammed also noted that it was needless for the General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia to call for the arrest of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

It was absolutely needless. The press conference that they did concerning the register and the issues they broached; I think it was absolutely needless. In fact, as a matter of fact; it was objectionable. Lets begin to be seen working together.
