His brave effort to help apprehend two suspected daylight robbers will earn him a brand new taxi after sacrificing his own.

According to management of the Retail company, Koala Shopping Mall, they will replace with a new taxi for the cab driver who for his bravery rammed his taxi into two suspected armed robbers on a motorbike.

In the process, his taxi got damaged – but administrative manager of Koala, Belinda Bekoe said on Joy FM that, the taxi driver will be getting a brand new taxi from the company – “for being a national hero and a special hero with the Koala family.”

This comes after the Ghana Police Service has also promised to reward the ‘unnamed’ driver for his heroic act.

He has also been commended by former President, John Jerry Rawlings after news broke of his tremendous help.

The robbers shot a sales girl on her way to deposit the previous day’s sales at the bank. While bolting, the driver rammed into the motorbike of the thieves, forcing them into a nearby drain.
