Andre And Jordan Ayew Will Not Leave EPL, Says Father

The father of Ghana internationals, the Ayew brothers, has ruled out the possibility of his sons leaving the Premier League during the transfer window.

Former Ghana captain and father of the Ayew brothers, Abedi 'Pele' Ayew says his sons will continue to ply their trade in the English Premier League despite reports linking them to moves across Europe, including Italy’s AS Roma.

Andre and Jordan joined Swansea City and Aston Villa from Marseille and Lorient respectively last year.

“Today, I think football is in England,” Ayew told Starr FM.

“The best league is in England. I think times have changed from when I was [playing] in Italy at Torino because today, it has shifted to the other side.

“My sons have achieved their lifetime dreams to play in England and even that they also have teams that they support there so we hope that one day, they will get those teams. But what is most important now is them to continue to put their foot in England as they are doing,” he added.

Andre has scored seven goals for Swansea while his younger brother, Jordan has netted five times for Villa in their relegation struggles.
