The former Porcupine Warriors coach has insisted that conditions of service in Ghana has deterred him from accepting offers to manage local clubs.

Former Ghana midfielder Abdul Karim Razak has revealed that he enjoys coaching foreign clubs over local teams due to the poor conditions of work back home.�

Razak, 59, last handled a Ghanaian club in 2004 after he guided Kotoko to win their first local league in ten years.

�I enjoy coaching outside Ghana,� Razk told Starr FM. �This is because several things are not done professionally in the country. Sometimes clubs fail to give coaches contracts after appointing them mainly because they don't want to pay these coaches well.�

�It is interesting that these local clubs fail to provide coaches several facilities but they expect good results,� he added.

Razak has managed AS Dragons FC de l'Ou�m� of Benin and Malian giants Stade Malien over the past decade.�

He was capped 70 times for Ghana, scoring 25 goals and was adjudged the African player of the year in 1978 after helping Ghana to win the Afcon that year.�
