Leicester City latest to express interest in Andre Ayew

Leicester City are the latest Club to have expressed interest in Ghanaian star Andre Ayew, according to a report by L’Equipe.

The Ghanaian international has attracted interest from several Clubs following Swansea’s poor form in the English Premier League this seaon.

Ayew who has so far been the best player for the Walsh Club having scored 7 goals has caught the eyes of some managers in the EPL with his heroic performance this season.

Swansea are already reported to have rejected a £12 million bid from fellow English Club Sunderland who were eager to sign the 26-year-old.

Reports emerging however indicate that in-form Leicester City have joined the race to secure the signature of the Ghana ace before the January transfer window comes to an end.

The Foxes are hence preparing to submit a better offer which could convince Swansea to release their star man.

Leicester is already set to sign Ghana defender Daniel Amartey who is reported to be awaiting his work permit to join the English Club from Danish outfit FC Copenhagen.

Ayew could possibly seek a move away from Leicester should the Club be relegated from the English Premier League this season as they currently lie 18th on the log sheet.

The player meanwhile is also reported to be a major target for one of the Manchester Club (Manchester City and Manchester United).
