DVLA Clears Backlog

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has finally cleared the backlog of over 200,000 drivers licences, ending several months of frustration on the part of the driving public.

Some of the licences have delayed for as long as two years.

As of last week, 196,114 licences had been dispatched to 25 DVLA offices nationwide for distribution.

Chief Executive Officer of DVLA, Noble John Appiah told The Finder that the licence backlog for the Winneba office of DVLA would be delivered this week.

He urged owners of the licences to go to the DVLA offices where they applied for their licences in their own time to collect them.
