The Kumasi Diocese of the Association of Methodist Men�s Fellowships has gone in for a group insurance policy at the Donewell Insurance Company Limited to give more protection to its members. Mr Bright Osei Agyemang, the Diocesan Chairman, said the initiative was part of a social responsibility programme to assist the members and their dependants. He was speaking at the induction service for newly-elected Executive Officers of the Wesley Cathedral Methodist Men�s Fellowship at Adum in Kumasi on Sunday. He said key on the agenda of the Fellowship was to seek the welfare of the members as well as the needy and the deprived in society. Mr Osei-Agyemang raised concern about the decline of the membership of the Fellowship and charged the leadership to launch an aggressive membership drive to attract more men in the church into their fold. He urged them to be resolute in the face of adversities, adding �you should follow the foot-steps of Christ�. The Very Reverend Samuel Frederick Ansuh, Superintendent Minister of the Kumasi Circuit, who inducted the officers, advised the leadership to organize crusades to draw others into the Fellowship. Additionally, they should, take active part in church programmes. The Very Rev. Ansuh commended the Kumasi Diocese Men�s Fellowship for its initiative to take a group insurance policy for the members, and advised other organizations in the church to emulate.
