Driver Steals Cab From Owners

A Liberian couple who escaped the jabs of the Ebola pandemic to Ghana to pick up the pieces of their lives met the rude shock of their lives when they discovered that Ebola also manifests in human form.

The ‘human Ebola’, Francis Mensah, also known as Sugar, stole their cab under the guise of buying it from the couple.

According to the police, the couple bought a Suzuki Wagon with registration number GR 2249-15 to use as a taxi to fetch them some income when they arrived in Ghana.

They then employed the services of Francis to drive the cab and render accounts to them.

After the Ebola pandemic was brought under control, the couple decided to return to Liberia.

Armed with the knowledge of the couple’s intention to return to Liberia, Francis convinced them to sell the taxi to him.

The complainants then entered an agreement with Francis to pay up for the cab, during the period the driver ceased rendering accounts to the couple.

After some time, Francis approached the couple to give him the documents of the car to enable him secure a loan to pay for the cab.

The couple, without any caution, willingly handed the papers of the car to Francis, after which the driver absconded.

Francis also left his place of residence and switched off his phone.
