British Army Officer Dies Of Complete Organ Failure After Collapsing Just 30 Miles From Finish Line

A British explorer attempting to become the first person to make a solo crossing across Antarctica has died from complete organ failure, his family has announced.

Former Army officer Henry Worsley, 55, from Fulham, London, was 71 days in to his attempt to become the first adventurer to cross the continent completely unsupported and unassisted.
