Greenstreet Poses Greatest Threat To Mahama, Akufo Addo

A political marketer, Dr. Kobby Mensah has claimed that the election of Ivor Kobina Greenstreet as the flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) should be a worry to other persons aspiring to be President of Ghana in the November polls.

Dr. Kobby Mensah in an interview with Adom News said the public pronouncements of Greenstreet prior to becoming the flagbearer of the CPP tells of the amount of danger he poses to the ambitions of other contenders.

“I think Ivor poses much threat, I have always been looking forward to this kind of healthy competition and debate between these people…he has shown to be a strong man, and I think he would live up to that tag…,” he said.

Ivor Greenstreet polled 1,288 votes, representing 64.2% of valid votes cast to beat Samia Nkrumah, Joseph Agyapong and Bright Akwetey, who contested him at the congress of the party.

He has since promised to work together with everyone to ensure victory for the CPP.

And Dr. Mensah opined his election is a remarkable feat in Ghana’s politics arguing that it is a great departure from the era where some political figures never posed a greater challenge to others.
