We Are Bringing The War To NDC And NPP's Doorsteps - Kabila

Former Youth Organizer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh has signaled his party's intention of pulling a surprise in the upcoming national polls.

According to him, those with the opinion that the CPP will not make any mark in the November 7 General Elections will shoot themselves in the foot when Electoral Commission set the ball rolling for the contest.

Many political pundits have argued that the 2016 general election is a straight fight between the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP); thus no political party is strong enough to send the 2016 election to a run-off.

But the likes of Ben Ephson, a renowned pollster believes that if the newly elected Presidential candidate, Mr. Ivor Greenstreet for the CPP puts up serious campaign and wins 7 percent of total votes in the 2016 election, second run is assured.

The ruling NDC through its Deputy National Organizer, Mahdi Muhammed Gibrill on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show has emphatically stated that the election of Mr. Greenstreet as the CPP’s Flagbearer will not affect the fortunes of President Mahama and the NDC in this year's election.

But reacting to the issue on the same platform, James Kwabena Bomfeh, also known in political circles as Kabila underscored the CPP’s determination to nullify the NDC and NPP's monopolistic hold over the affairs of the country by presenting the Nkrumaist part as a formidable third force in Ghana's political climate.

Tell him that we are bringing the war to them at their doorstep in government; we are going to take on the NDC and the NPP as well. They should wait and see what will happen in the 2016 general election,” he responded.

He however urged the NDC to continue with its superior posture and underestimate the CPP in the 2016 election; asserting that the posture of the NDC capo's irreverent attitude will not go unpunished by the good people of Ghana.

He should say whatever he likes to us because it is this similar disrespectful behavior that Samia Nkrumah and her team showed to our campaign team and they were punished for it. It is all about hard work and I tell you, hard work pays,” he averred.
