Presidential Staffer James Agyenim Boateng has commended Ivor Greenstreet for his landslide victory during the Convention People's Party (CPP) national delegates' congress.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, the one-time broadcast journalist touted the flagbearer-elect's commitment to the party and believed his election as the CPP's Presidential Candidate will help change Ghana's political climate.

He therefore urged Mr. Greenstreet to utilize the mandate given to him by the party delegates and ensure that the CPP becomes a unified and formidable force in Ghana's politics.

“This is the kind of opposition that we’re looking for; that they are formidable, united and well organized." he said.

He further noted the CPP under the leadership of Ivor Greenstreet will give President John Dramani Mahama a fair chance to win the 2016 general elections.

"...when they contest President John Dramani Mahama in the 2016 elections and he beats them, everybody will understand it. That also becomes fair and square…We wish them well. We wish them good organization. We wish them unity. We wish them all best.”
