A member of the opposition New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) branch in Germany, Mr. Kwadwo Anim has urged Ghanaians abroad to convince their families in Ghana especially in the rural areas to vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo to form the next government.
According to him, the leadership of Nana Akufo-Addo will fight corruption with deeds and not lip-service and channel all state resources into activities which will improve the living conditions of Ghanaians as was seen under the leadership of former President Kufuor.
Justifying his assurance of best governance under Akufo-Addo’s presidency, Mr. Anim told Peacefmonline.com in an interview that the ideologies of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to make lives comfortable for Ghanaians were largely manifested during Kufuor’s administration.
To him, it is still clear and refreshing in the minds of Ghanaians how effective the Capitation Grant, School Feeding Program, Free Maternal Care, NHIS, Metro Mass Transport and the free flow of regular gas supply to the various communities under the leadership of former President Kufuor was.
He maintained that Ghana will rise again as it did under former President Kufuor when Ghanaians give their mandate to Nana Akufo-Addo in the November 7, 2016 general election.
“If God permits to make Nana Akufo-Addo President, Ghana will change under his presidency and all of us will give thanks, praises and express joy to God and say it is His doing . . . it is my prayer that God will touch the heart of every Ghanaian to think of the things Nana Akufo-Addo has promised to do for Ghanaians,” he said.
