Mends Lands Arsenals Job

Former Asante Kotoko coach Ebo Mends has signed a two-year-contract to take over the reigns at Berekum Arsenals. Mends penned the new deal with the Gunners after Emmanuel Quarshie walked out on the club for the third time. The former Kotoko coach has been tasked with the responsibility of building a strong squad for the upcoming season. Club Chairman Yakubu Moro confirmed the acquisition of the experienced coach and believes he will be a huge success at the Golden City Park. "I can indeed confirm to you that we have signed Ebo Mends for the next two years," Moro told Ghanasoccernet.com "We believe he has good coaching credentials and he will be a good addition to our technical bench for the upcoming season. "We tried to sort out some few issues with Quarshie only for him to walk out on us and so we had to look elsewhere and so Mends has already started training with the club and hopefully he will do well."
