MP's Murder....Stan Dogbe Counsels Nana Addo But Fires "Dont Mind The Fools"

The Ghana Police on Thursday arrested a man suspected to be the killer of late JB Danquah, Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Hours after the arrest, rumour circulated on social media that the alleged killer, during interrogation mentioned the name of Stan Xoese Dogbe, Head of Communications at the Presidency as part of those who masterminded the heinous act.

Some of the social media reports claim information retrieved from the late MP’s phone indicated that he had been threatened by the presidential staffer a few days before his death.

NPP MP for Assin North, Kennedy Agyapong, is reported to have made reference to this on Oman FM on Thursday, but did not mention Mr Dogbe's name.

The outspoken MP reportedly added that President John Dramani Mahama would be impeached if it is established that he had a hand in the MP’s death.

But in a sharp riposte, the presidential staffer fired at the "fools" behind the allegation saying "i have not been invited by any security agency, i have not been involved in any murder or criminal act".

Stan, who failed to disclose who the "fools" were, added that he believed "it's their campaign strategy, probably outlined for them by their hardworking strategists..."

He however had a direct message for the 2016 NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo and members of the opposition party, leaving no one in doubt as to which group of people he was referring to in his earlier address: "And please, Nana Akuffo Addo, let your army help design a message for you for the election instead of this disgraceful things they are engineered to engage in."

Below is what he wrote on his facebook wall.
