JB�s Murder: Stan Dogbe Has Not Been Mentioned�- Police

The Ghana Police Service has denied allegation that Stan Dogbe has been mentioned in connection with the murder of the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Hon J.B. Danquah-Adu.

According to the police, the suspect in custody over the matter has not mentioned Mr. Dogbe’s name as is being circulated on social media.

In a statement signed by Superintendent Cephas Arthur, “the attention of the Police has been drawn to stories circulating in the Public domain that the name of Mr. Stan Dogbe and other political personalities have been mentioned in connection with the murder of the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North. The police can state on authority that the suspect has never mentioned Mr Stan Dogbe’s name or any politician's name as at now...”

The attention of the Police Administration has been drawn to stories circulating in public domain that the names of Mr Stan Dogbe and other political personalities have been mentioned in connection with the murder of the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Hon J.B Danquah-Adu.

The police can state on authority that the suspect has never mentioned Mr Stan Dogbe or any politician’s name as at now.

We hereby wish to caution the public to desist from dangerous lies and half-truths, since they have the potential of jeopardising the investigation process.

Furthermore, the Police Administration has not issued any statement on the result of the investigation being conducted so far, and therefore dissociates itself from stories being peddled regarding the interrogation of the suspect.

The police administration wishes to entreat the public to desist from acts that border or criminality, as anyone arrested would be made to face the full rigours of the law
