Two people drowned in a dam at Bongo under very bizarre circumstances on Valentine’s Day.
Eye-witnesses said the second person, Nyaaba Atrawine, a 26-year-old member of a rescue party, organized to retrieve Anyanbe’s body, also got drowned.
The Bongo District Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Paul Ankan, who confirmed the incident, said the two bodies had been deposited at the Bongo-Soe Clinic awaiting autopsy.
