The Obuasi West Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has applauded Hon. Edward Ennin, the Member of Parliament for Obuasi East for his numerous MPs share of the Common Fund sponsored projects.

In a Press Conference organized by the Obuasi West NDC Constituency at their Bedieso office yesterday, the General Secretary, Mr. David Adama, who led the Press Conference mentioned some of the projects being undertaken by the Obuasi East Member of Parliament.

“We can visibly see the projects Hon. Edward Ennin, Member of Parliament for Obuasi East has undertaken with his share of Common Fund. Mention can be of two-storey Nurses’ Quarters at the Obuasi Government Hospital, MP’s Functional Office at Low Cost, Brahabebome, a Library Complex at Ramia, construction of about eight (8) boreholes currently on going, just to mention but a few,” he stated.

According to him, Edward Ennin receives the same funds as Hon. Kwaku Kwarteng, but he is able to do projects with his share of the Common Fund.

Mr. David Adama went on to call on Hon. Kwaku Kwarteng Agyemang, the Member of Parliament for Obuasi West to come and account for his share of the MPs Common Fund of which they have seen nothing verifiable of.

According to the Obuasi West NDC, they want the Member of Parliament, Kwaku Kwarteng to come and explain to the people of Obuasi what he uses his share of the MP’s Common Fund for.
