Prez Mahamas "Evidence" To Parliament Is Questionable PAC Chair

Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC)  of Parliament and also Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa Central, Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu has slated President John Dramani Mahama for parading some beneficiaries in parliament as ‘evidence’ during his last State of The Nation Address on Thursday.

The president showed by evidence some individuals who are benefitting from his achievements in all sectors.

During his address, he mentioned the names of those personalities as proof to show the minority and Ghanaians, successes his administration had chalked over the years.

But speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie', the NPP’s lawmaker, Kwaku Agyeman Manu doubts if those "living testimonies" have indeed profited from the president’s projects.

According to him – “It’s a shame for them to even come to parliament. Who knows if they are not beneficiaries? What is the president’s evidence base?”
