I'm Being Threatened After Pupils On Bare Floor Story - Kperisi M. A. Headmistress Cries

Headmistress of Kperisi M.A. Primary School has said she is likely to quit her educational job to venture into selling “ice water” to survive.

According to her, ever since the news broke that pupils in her school were lying on the bare classroom floor to write because they don't have furniture to sit on – some individuals have threatened to ‘deal’ with her.

She has been tagged to the NPP but the headmistress, Rosina Diedong has denied strongly her affiliation with any political party.

According to her – she is not a politician and did not invite journalists out of malice into the school to disgrace the Wa Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Alhassan Nuhu Putiaha.

Diedong said she was told that she didn't take permission from the directorate and that has brought the name of the school and the municipality into disrepute.

After the report, NPP’s running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited the school and has ordered for school furniture for 500 students in the school  – but the Wa Municipal Chief Executive is against the move.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed 'Ghana Montie', Madam Rosina Diedong noted that – threats from the community folks is compelling her to quit her job.

“I will stop the job and start selling ice water. I can’t risk myself,” she said.
