A Political Science Lecturer at the Methodist University College, Mr. Bonsu Osei Owusu has called on leaders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to act fast by settling concerns raised by Nii Noi Nortey after his loss to Philip Addison in the re –run last Saturday.

According to him they have to make sure they convince him to support Philip Addison whole-heartedly if really the party is on a serious mission to win the seat from the NDC.

The NPP would not have it easy winning the Klottey Korle seat if Zenator Rawlings gets the nod to be part of the race after the court proceedings are over, especially since it is a seat which has belonged to a particular party for years.

He noted in an interview with Peace FM News that “the party to me cannot win should Nii Noi Nortey race as an independent candidate.”

He firmly stated that the only best choice that would make the NPP win the Klottey Korle parliamentary seat is to negotiate as early as possible with Nii Noi Nortey to redress all the outstanding decisions he has taken due to his lost to Philip.
