Hearts of Oak Players Earn Ghc1,000.00 Each In Bonuses

The Phobians have been handed bonuses of Ghc 1000 each for their historic win over Medeama in the Ghana PL match day two.

Hearts of Oak players have been given bonuses worth Ghc 1000 ($258) each following their historic victory over FA Cup and Super Cup holders Medeama in Tarkwa on Sunday.

Then Phobians pulled off a shock during the weekend when they crushed the Mauve and Yellows 2-0 in their own turf, a feat the Accra-based outfit had never attained.

Majority shareholder Togbe Afede of Hearts of Oak earlier made the mouth-watering promise to the players should they overcome Tom Strand and his charges.

The promise was fulfilled when the team were handed the funds in Accra on Wednesday.

Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi will hope to clinch a third win in a row as they travel to Cape Coast to face Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.

Criticisms are gradually easing off on the Japanese manager following his side’s current top form in the new season.
