Ghana winger Christian made his injury return for Malaga as they suffered a painful 1-2 defeat at home to Valencia in the Spanish Primera División.
 
The on-loan Chelsea man recently returned from a setback after making his debut against Getafe three weeks ago, a game he scored to help them win 3-0.

Atsu climbed off the bench to replace Ricardo Horta in the 75thminute and excelled in the last 15 minutes of the game by injecting some bite into the Malaga attack.

The 24-year-old could have recorded an assist for himself after sending in a perfect cross to teammate Charles only for the Brazilian to head the ball wide.

The Ghanaian wide-man is hence expected to start in Malaga’s next League fixture against Deportivo La Corona on Saturday.
