Hearts Coach Yastuhashi cautions players over complacency

Accra Hearts of Oak Coach Kenichi Yastuhashi has cautioned his side to avoid complacency following the team’s resurging run in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Ghanaian Champions have begun their campaign on a promising note by winning all two matches played so far in the League.

The Rainbow Cub managed a 1-0 victory over New Edubiase in their opening League game before securing an important 2-0 win over Medeama SC last Sunday, a performance which has eventually see them earn praises from several football enthusiast.

Yastuhashi who was heavily criticized after the team’s patchy preseason exercise has warned his players against smugness in their subsequent matches.

“I think we are build on a performance in every game, we have tried to work on the various department in the team,” he said.

“For now it is important we avoid complacency, we must not allow this to get in us because there is more games ahead.

“We hope to achieve a positive result against Dwarfs on Sunday.”

Hearts are currently second on the League table with 6 points after just two matches.
