Use Your Position To Effect Change In Society

Founder and Leader of Christ Impact Winning Chapel International of Kukuom in Asunafo South District of the Brong Ahafo region, Prophet Stephen Frimpong, has called on political leaders to use their positions to develop ideas which will effect changes in the society.

Consequently, the man of God cautioned political leaders to be very careful on how they use their positions, stressing that those who use their positions to enrich themselves must stop.

“Some leaders are misusing powers vested in them which means it doesn’t fall in line with responsibilities assigned them because it is their constitutional mandate as leaders to serve the people and make it a priority to improve their standard of living,” he noted.

Prophet Frimpong gave this warning in an interview with Genesis Radio in Goaso in the Brong Ahafo region on a show titled; “Testimony Hour”’ over the weekend.

He lamented how people use their attained positions to cheat others without thinking about the negative effect it may have on others.

“I think this is an arbitrary habit which needs to be addressed immediately. The public in turn must hold government accountable for every little thing and not fear to speak their mind every now and then by pretending everything is fine when truly it is rather the opposite,” he suggested.

He urged stakeholders of the various institutions including the police, chiefs, pastors, lawyers, heads of schools to be very mindful of how they use their positions “today because judgement is awaiting them.”

“I am sometimes baffled and overwhelmed when our political leaders do all sorts of things to amass power and wealth at all cost forgetting that God really exist. They ought to desist from their indecent practices or evil ways to serve the purpose God wants them to.

…Presidents come and go so they shouldn’t assume this is a position they will forever hold. It is just temporary, not permanent,” he stated.

Prophet Frimpong thus tasked Ghanaians to be vigilant in all their ways and put the government on it toes by ensuring that they account for their stewardship.
