Mourinho Handed One-Game Ban

Jose Mourinho has been hit with a one-game touchline ban after being sent to the stands on Sunday. The Inter Milan boss was ordered from the dugout during his side's 2-1 victory over Cagliari. The Portuguese coach was punished after arguing with match officials at Stadio Sant'Elia. He will now miss Inter's midweek contest with Napoli as a consequence of his actions. The Italian FA has also revealed that Mourinho will be ordered to pay a 15,000 (13,600) fine. Inter's Serie A rivals Roma have been stung with a similar penalty after their supporters exploded a large number of firecrackers during their 3-1 win over Fiorentina. Fans at the Stadio Olimpico were protesting against club owner Rosella Sensi and government plans to introduce electronic cards to track the movements of football followers.
