Hearts of Oak bag whopping GHc102,000 against Bechem United

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak bagged a whopping 102,000 Gh Cedis from the gate proceeds of their 3-1 victory over Bechem United in their Ghana Premier League game in Accra on Sunday.

The Phobians nearly doubled the amount they earned from their previous home matches against New Edubiase when they earned 60,000 Cedis.

The Accra side had one of their biggest crowds this season when they played the match in the country's biggest stadium with their impressive start to the season.

The money from Sunday comes as a massive financial boost for the Phobians as these monies could go into paying the wages of the players for two months.

The management of the club last week increased the rates of their gates fees to the displeasure of the fans and so quickly it was reversed to the initial rates.

The spectators at the venue included members of the Japanese Community in the country who always troop in there, in their numbers to support compatriot Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

Hearts of Oak next premier league game is against Inter Allies in Tema.
