Kwadwo Asamoah�s Juventus eliminated from UEFA Champions League

Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah and his Juventus team were ejected from the UEFA Champions League after losing 4-2 away to Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
 
The Italians who looked set to book a place at the last eight threw away a two-goal lead to allow their counterparts come from behind to win the game at the Allianz-Arena after extra time.

Paul Pogba and Juan Cuadrado had given Juventus a comfortable two-goal lead at the end of the first half.

Bayern however crawled their way back into the game after Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller drew level to take the game to extra time.

Maximillini Allegri’s side could not contain the pressure from the former European Champions as they allowed in two more goals to end the game 4-2 in favor of the home side. Thanks to strikes from Kingsley Coman and Thiago Alcântara who came off the bench to score the winning goals.

The result however saw Bayern progressing to the next round of the competition on a 6-4 aggregate score line after the first leg match ended 2-2.

Kwadwo Asamoah was in the march-day squad for Juventus as he watched the entire game from the bench.

The Ghanaian missed out in the Black Stars squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique despite recovering from injury.
