Maxwell Konadu impressed with massive turnouts at League centers

Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu is impressed with the turnouts at the various League centers in this season’s Ghana Premier League.

The domestic top-flight is gradually earning the patronage since the beginning of the season.

Football fans have honoured the League games by trooping to the various stadia in their numbers to watch their Clubs.

The League for the past six seasons had lost it sense of touch following the low patronage by football fans who described it as unattractive.

The season has recorded one of the huge turnouts since its commencement five weeks ago.

Maxwell Konadu who was at the Tema Stadium to watch the League game between Inter-Allies and Hearts of Oak is overwhelmed by attendance so far.

“This season has been good, as you can see the fans have come in their numbers and that is good for the League,” he told Supersport.

“I hope this continues, is been long since we recorded such number of spectators in the stadia. Not only here but the rest of the stadia so is very good.”

Konadu will assist Avram Grant when the Black Stars take on Mozambique on Thursday.
