Our Objective Is To Win In Ghana - Mozambique Coach

The head coach of Mozambique, Abel Xavier has said they are expecting nothing but a win against the Black Stars of Ghana, at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.

Ghana will host the Mambas at the Accra Sports stadium in the first leg of the AFCON 2017 qualifier.

Xavier, who was looking so confident stated that they came to Ghana with a purpose, saying "we have  lot of respect for Ghana.

"They have a very rich history in football but we are not afraid, we came with a game plan, which is to be compact and play our normal game to win this match," he said.

According to the coach there are no longer minnows in the game, adding that every team was capable of winning.

"These days big names and big teams don't win games. It's all about being determined and taking your chances". He said.

"You need to be focused and use a strategy that will create more chances for you to score. We believe this will work for us against Ghana." He said.
