Hearts Fans Against Egyptian Coach

The supporters wing of Hearts of Oak has kick against moves by the club to hire Egyptian coach Ayman El Yamani for the next soccer season because they claim they are cash-trapped. The Ghanaian league champions are set to name the expatriate as their new man by the close of the week if all contractual details are stitched up. National Chapters Committee Chairman, Alhaji Braimah Moro Akanbi insists the club do not have the financial wherewithal to employ another foreign coach. "We at the club know that we don't have the money and so it will be highly unwise to go and hire an expatriate again," Akanbi said. "We brought in Eyal Lachman and Kosta Papic and they cost us massive money and finally they left without any doing anything for us. "The pressure from the fans not to allow the management to hire the coach has been incessant because they admit that we don't have the financial muscle." El Yamani once handled the Swaziland national team in 2006 and has been in Ghana for close to two weeks monitoring his personnel.
