Nana Addo Should Use His Bonus Years To Advise His Grandchildren - Kofi Adams

Presidential candidate of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo turned 72 years on March 29, the National Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kofi Adams has advised him to use his remaining years wisely.

According to him, the Bible says man will have 70 years of life on earth and any more years would be a bonus; thus he [Nana Addo] is blessed with long life as he is still standing as Flagbearer of the opposition NPP.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Kofi Adams prayed for good health with the reason being that after the 70 years as the Bible has stated, the rest of Akufo-Addo’s years are bonus of God’s blessing inflicted with sickness and other age related issues.

“God has blessed him and we will thank God that he has added a year to his age and he is still standing strong as a Flagbearer of the NPP. We also pray for good health because as the Bible says that a man has up to 70 years and after that the rest of the years are bonus of God’s blessing,” he indicated.

He again urged the opposition NPP leader to use his remaining years on earth in a manner that will serve as an advisory role to his grandchildren since he is a grandfather.

Kofi Adams charged Akufo-Addo to stop all his old behaviours because many of his peers and party leading members saw him as a radical person in his youthful age.

“This is not the time for him to be radical and loud, we know how he used to behave when he was young but at least at age 72 it is time for him to stop certain things he used to do in the past. He should stay aside and offer advice to his grandchildren,” he jabbed.
