Kofi Amoabeng, Sarkodie On Vodafone's X-Men tour

Ghana’s first youth platform, Vodafone X, partners two of Ghana’s most celebrated business and entertainment icons – Prince Kofi Amoabeng and Sarkodie respectively – to share their leadership experiences and foster productive discussions with students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on Saturday, April 30.

The maiden edition of the empowerment summit, dubbed, “X-Men Tour”, is aimed at motivating and inspiring the youth to achieve greatness by bringing together the most influential and successful people in Ghana to share their experiences.

The President of UT Group and Founder of UT Bank, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, is looking forward to a wonderful experience with the students of KNUST.

“Sarkodie and I look forward to sharing our success stories with these students as they embark on a journey to achieve their dreams,” Mr Amoabeng said.

“This initiative has been a burning desire on our hearts and thankfully we are about to witness its fulfillment.”

Director of Marketing at Vodafone Ghana Agnes Emefa Essah said the X-Men Tour is in line with the company’s brand promise of continuously introducing initiatives that empower Ghanaian youth.

“We are essentially contributing to a future where the next generation after us will be equipped with the right advice and direction to take this country to the next level of growth and advancement.”

Over the years, Vodafone has introduced youth empowering initiatives that have improved lives through innovative and socially impactful programmes.

These include Icons, where aspiring musicians are groomed and nurtured to become stars.
