Credible information coming from Kumasi suggests that the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka Wontumi has finally submitted himself to the Police for questioning.
Wontumi is currently at the headquarters of the Ashanti Regional Police Command where he is reported to be writing his statement.
He is said to have reported to the Regional Police Station on his own volition having earlier done same at the Tafo Divisional Police Station.
Inside sources familiar with the situation say Wontumi moments after the Krofrom debacle, lodged a complaint at the Tafo Divisional Police Command that the MP for Manhyia North has threatened to kill him.
